Nashville, TN, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AdvisorCRM today announced AdvisorCRM Studio (“Studio”), a flexible app-building platform that allows advisory firms to create custom tools, reports, and workflows using plain language. AdvisorCRM’s own solutions—including Trove, Ember, and its all-in-one AI-native CRM—are the first apps to be natively built on top of the Studio initiative.

AdvisorCRM Studio is designed for firms that have outgrown rigid software but do not have the time, budget, or technical resources to build custom technology from scratch. With AdvisorCRM Studio, advisors can describe the tool or workflow they need, preview it using their firm’s real data, and decide how to deploy it, giving firms more control over how their technology supports their practice.

“Advisors should not have to force their business into software that was built for someone else,” said Ryan Borer, Managing Partner at AdvisorCRM. “With AdvisorCRM Studio, they can describe the app, report, or workflow they need in plain language, preview it with their own data, and decide how it should work inside their firm. It gives advisors the flexibility to build around the way they already serve clients, with no compromises.”

By giving firms a single foundation for all the solutions they create in Studio, it helps advisors avoid the fragmented experience of disconnected tools and duplicate client records. Instead of maintaining the same information across multiple systems, firms can work from one organized source of data, reducing manual updates, and giving teams more time to focus on client service.

Security is built into the underlying structure of AdvisorCRM Studio. Each firm has its own dedicated database, keeping its data structurally and securely separate from other firms on the platform. Because firms are isolated at the database level, if application or configuration issues arise within one firm’s database, they do not expose or affect another firm’s data. This architecture provides each firm with its own secure environment while allowing advisors to build and manage applications using their firm’s data.

“AdvisorCRM Studio was built to give advisors practical control over the technology they rely on every day,” said Leibel Sternbach, Partner and CTO of AdvisorCRM. “Each firm decides what is right for its own advisors, reviews the output, and controls how it is deployed. That balance is critical in a business where client trust depends on accuracy and judgment.”

AdvisorCRM Studio is part of AdvisorCRM’s broader effort to help advisory firms replace fragmented, manual workflows with technology that fits their business. By allowing firms to build around their own data, processes, and client service model, AdvisorCRM Studio helps advisors create a more unified operating foundation, without sacrificing flexibility.

“Advisors coming from other platforms see a night-and-day difference. They’re used to rigidity, complexity, and systems that aren’t intuitive. When they see AdvisorCRM, it’s a breath of fresh air,” said Charles Heuring, CEO, IAMS Wealth and AdvisorCRM user. “AdvisorCRM has been responsive and supportive to the point where we feel like we truly have a voice. We’re not just being dictated to—we’re at the table with them. Whether we need a new tool or a simpler change to how something works, they listen and take our feedback.”

AdvisorCRM Studio is being introduced with a limited release at the 2026 Future Proof Festival. The first 50 firms to be accepted into the program will build alongside the AdvisorCRM team. Each firm is taken through the same process AdvisorCRM uses with its consulting clients: defining the outcomes the firm is after, building the first set of applications with them, and confirming the firm is set up with the model that matches how it actually operates. Teams are then coached on day-to-day use, with broader access opening as those initial 50 builds are completed. This consultative approach is deliberate; by working through those first decisions together, each firm receives a clear starting point and a process it can repeat for everything it builds afterward.

“When you can build almost anything, the hard part is knowing where to begin,” said Borer. “We work through that with each firm the same way we would with a consulting client: understand what the firm needs first, plan for how it should fit the way the team already works, and then address what comes after. It is the difference between a good idea and something the firm runs on.”
