Buffalo, NY, October 19, 2026 —

The Allentown Association in Buffalo is planning a 2026 Halloween event that will feature decorated properties, self-guided tours and online voting. The event, called “Spookiest Porches of Allentown,” is scheduled to run from October 17 through October 29.

Residents and businesses are expected to decorate their properties for Halloween. Members of the public are invited to tour the decorated porches on their own and vote online for their favorite. The information provided does not specify how to access the voting site, whether registration is required, or how the decorated properties will be identified along a tour route.

A related event, the Spooky Allentown Festival, is scheduled for October 24 at 169 Allen Street. The announcement does not provide the festival’s hours, planned activities or other program details. It also does not say whether the festival requires admission or whether visitors need to register for any part of the event.

The porch event’s dates span 13 calendar days, with the festival falling during that period. The Association has not provided further information in the summary about participating properties, judging or voting rules, or when online voting will close. Details about event contacts and any arrangements for people who need accessibility accommodations were not included.

For now, the announced schedule identifies the main public activities: self-guided tours and online voting from October 17 through October 29, along with the festival on October 24 at the Allen Street address. Additional logistics have not been specified.
